Too Cute to Eat

I have been in this strange mood lately.  You know those crazy moods--when you become randomly obsessed with something that has never before interested you?  This is how I am with cookies at the moment. And let me tell you, my metabolism needs more than a few jumping jacks to pay for it!

Cookie art may be beautiful, but trust me, making beautiful cookies takes time, practice, and LOTS of clean-up!  A couple of summers ago, I was inspired to master the art myself.  One hundred burned or malformed cookies later, I retired.  I decided to stick with what I know and leave bakery art to professionals!

Looking at these fun cookies makes me want to try again.  However, the vivid memory of the cooking aftermath keeps re-appearing in my mind and stops me from doing it.  Ugh, but they are so cute!!

Happy Friday!

  2. You are so right - making a pretty cookie takes a lot of time, efford and skills! The ones above are soooooooooooo pretty! Would be a great idea to have cookie party and use them as a main meal and decoration at the same time. :)
